Properties
Reduces bleeding and tenderness of the gums. Also helps to prevent gingivitis from recurring. Permethol decreases the severity and frequency of bleeding and the sensitivity of the dental gum. Chlorhexidine has a disinfecting effect and reduces plaque formation (the main cause of gum problems).
