Description
Glucanix-met is a combination of vildagliptin and metformin which is used in the management of type two diabetes. Vildagliptin increases the availability of insulin by increasing incretin levels while metformin increases insulin sensitivity, decreases hepatic glucose production and reduces GI glucose absorption to control blood glucose. The combination elicits clinically significant and dose-related decreased in HbA1C, Fasting Blood Glucose, and Post-Prandial Blood Glucose levels.
