Benylin paediatric is indicated for the relief of cough and its congestive symptoms and for treatment of hayfever and other allergic conditions affecting the upper respiratory tract.

Each 5ml syrup contains Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 7mg, Alcohol 5% w/v and Sodium Benzoate 0.5% w/v as preservative.
A maximum of four doses should not be exceeded in a day. Children between 2 to 5 years should take 5ml every 3 hours daily while children between the age of 6 to 12 years should be given 10ml every 3 hours daily.
Do not exceed a maximum of 4 doses per day. The use of this medication may lead to drowsiness and impaired concentration, which may be aggravated by the simultaneous intake of alcohol or other central nervous system depressant agents. Store in a dry cool place away from the reach of children.
